倘若是指 "這片土地" (i.e., New Mexico 的土地), 那麼 "wetter" 必定是跟其他地方的土地作比較, 特別是之前常拿來作比較的緬因州 (Maine). 你們覺得 New Mexico (arid/semiarid continental climate) 的土地 (desert) 比 Maine (humid continental climate) 的土地 (woodland) 更潮濕 (wetter), 這樣理解更恰當？
